media assignment you are going to find and capture evidence of a pattern in nature.\u00a0 This will be a natural phenomenon rather than a human-produced pattern.\u00a0 Locate a natural pattern in your surroundings (outdoors or indoors), not on the internet.\u00a0 This can be a pattern of a living system like moss growth on a trunk of a tree or a non-living system like crystal shapes in a rock.\u00a0 Examples of patterns (yours may be similar or different):<\/h5>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<h5>branching patterns in roots, branches, frost, veins<\/h5>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<h5>spiraling patterns in flowers, cones, water down a drain<\/h5>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<h5>sphere shape (reducing surface area) in a sleeping animal, a cactus<\/h5>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h5><em>Note: this media piece would be a good fit for the Assignment<\/h3>\n<h3>Patterns in Nature<\/h3> <h5>In this media assignment you are going to find and capture evidence of a pattern in nature.\u00a0 This will be a natural phenomenon rather than a human-produced pattern.\u00a0 Locate a natural pattern in your surroundings (outdoors or indoors), not on the internet.\u00a0 This can be a pattern of a living system like moss growth on a trunk of a tree or a non-living system like crystal shapes in a rock.\u00a0 Examples of patterns (yours may be similar or different):<\/h5> <ul> <li> <h5>branching patterns in roots, branches, frost, veins<\/h5> <\/li> <li> <h5>spiraling patterns in flowers, cones, water down a drain<\/h5> <\/li> <li> <h5>sphere shape (reducing surface area) in a sleeping animal, a cactus<\/h5> <\/li> <\/ul> <h5><em>Note:
