About this Guide

Piecing it Together

This guide has a portfolio update and its a good time to revisit the process of saving your work in an accessible format.  We come up with fantastic ideas, and make wonderful things, but they are not always organized in a way that we’ll ever use them again.  This course is an opportunity to step back and think about what aspects of your science knowledge are important to you, your future self, friends, family, and possibly a larger community.  Hopefully the portfolio will be a step towards organizing for a future of science learning and teaching.

Accidental Cross

Our mutant strain of flightless fruit flies have crossed with a wild strain that came in with grocery store fruit, and we now have large and assertive flying fruit flies everywhere.

Follow the Fruit

Our secret to photographing animals, whether its birds in the bushes or fruit flies in the kitchen, is to wait quietly next to a pile of fruit.
